Bought this because I never had a beer from Tirol, AT. As it is a pretty mountaneous region, I expected something extraordinary because all the other stuff they produce (cheese, ham amd the like) are very good.
Well I wouldn’t say that this one is bad per se, but I felt a bit let down. The beer is nice though, very clear, actually much clearer than your average helles. What I noticed at first glance that it had quite a deep brown hue to it, meaning it is pretty intense on the malts side - and so it was. Imagine a helles but with more body and a much sweeter, caramel-like character to it. Altogether it is a very decent beer but I like my helles dry and hoppy. This was a bit more like a stamina, a richer version of it.
So it is not gonna be my favorite but nevertheless it is a decent beer.
