The appearance was a transparent amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a mild pace. Subtle stringy lace. The aroma had some roasty nuts, grassy hops and then a light caramel/toffee blend. The flavor yielded to the blend of sweet to roast evenly flowing nicely between both on into the aftertaste. Light on the finish, but somewhat there. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt fine and the balance between sweet smoothness to roasty clinginess felt good. Overall, good amber ale worthy of coming back to. I think this is their flagship beer.
