Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a dark brown almost black color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. Modest lace. The aroma had some roasty to sweet chocolate tones with a light graham cracker and then faint vanilla/slightly like marshmallow. The flavor starts sweet with the chocolate, very milk chocolate-like and then the graham cracker sweetness. Lenient in the graham cracker in the aftertaste as it really sticks to the milk chocolate and marshmallow/vanilla sweetness. Wet sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt good for what the brewer projected. Overall, for the most part, it’s not a bad "s’more" porter, just doesn’t really come all of the way together and seems more ’vanilla’ than ’marshmallow."
