[Original rating 2016-07-29] Bomber from the brewery store. Pours clear dark orange with a medium tan head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, roasted malt, wood. Taste is caramel malt with a bitter piney hop finish. Well balanced. Nice thick mouth feel. Label says 6% but tastes stronger. Would like to try this on tap - oh, wait, I can’t because I’m in Utah.

Appearance: murky and dark red in color.
Smell: dank, earthy hop profile with notes of sugar from the malt.
Taste: resinous and bitter. Malty profile shines mid way through the taste. Also subtle grapefruit rind.
Mouthfeel: a medium bodied mouth feel that is almost creamy.
Overall: an impressive beer to be brewed in Utah. The mix of hops and malt is excellent. Hops are not overwhelming and I like its earthiness.
