[Original rating 2016-07-17] Bomber from the brewery store. Pours clear gold with a thin white head that disappears quickly leaving nice lacing. Aroma of Belgian yeast, apple, pepper, a hint of earth. Taste is malt, hops, flowers, spice. Slightly bitter grassy finish. Very well done, one of the better 4% beers I’ve had. I’ll have to try this one on draft.

Cloudy straw color, small bubbles in a thick frothy head that lingers a bit and leaves some lacing. The smell is fruit and yeast, and the taste doesn't quote get there. Finish is clean but softly bitter. Mellow. Given it is very refreshing, but the fruit notes are too subtle to discern over the breadiness and malt flavors. There's better patersbier out there, for sure. I had some roast pork with thyme and Jasmine rice, and it complemented the meal well.

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.

Appearance: rich golden hue with a moderate haze and a finger of ivory foam. Great!

Smell: malty and sweet with a very subtle fruitiness from the yeast. Just to-style; I like it.

Taste: subtle, malty, just a little yeasty. Maybe a dash weak but still very good.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a big carbonation and great creaminess.

Overall: very tasty and massively drinkable at sub-4%. I dig it.
