Pours a golden yellow with a finger and a half of head that settles to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of pineapple, citrus and mango. Taste follows nose.

Look: Pours a golden yellow with a nice thin white head.

Smell: Pungent tropical aromas - I can smell pineapple, tangerine, mango. The aromas hits as soon as you pour and is very pleasant.

Taste: A little strange, as I’m not getting the tropical fruits from the aroma on the taste at all. Very light hints of banana, pine, and spruce. The rest of the tropical aroma vanished on the taste. Also hints of oats and malt that help round it out a bit.

Feel: Light body and easy to throw back.

Overall: Honestly a strange beer. Taste left me a bit disappointed since the aroma and look were so pleasant, but it’s not a bad IPA by any means.

6-2-21 dated tall can purchased at the source in SLC.

Pretty typical looking medium hazed pour, under a fine bubble cap, and film.

Mild hoppy sniff

Sort of nondescript IPA, a bit of fruit, loose malts...meh...decent at best, not really coming together or establishing much of a persona.

awesome label art on these cans, looking super sharp across their lineup now. this is nice ipa, not overly well refined, but it doesnt need to to be delicious, nice and hazy and dry hoppy and assertive, but well carbonated and pretty clean in the finish, no burn, nothing residual from the malt, its tidy in that way, and i liked this a lot. these guys continue to impress me across a range of styles too, great little operation here. just a half shade richer looking in the glass than generic pale, frothy white head on top, nice retention with some lace, still bright despite the haze. fruity hops to me, almost a candied thing in the nose, maybe cryo hops used here, has that pungency and purity to it right away, some minerals stand out as well to me, earthy and crisping to this, while i get a more familiar hop profile in the taste, light orange peel, melon, pineapple, and spruce, slight gin botanical sharpness, and mild bitterness to finish, nice trajectory, good freshness, very solid brew overall. it could be a touch lighter in terms of body, this has some heft most of the way through, but on the other hand i like that this time of year and it does not seem out of place in what is a very cohesive and well rounded beer here...
