The theme of this version is blackberry and peach. Surprising pour with an unseen-before shade of reddish purply orange, and as cloudy as a beer can get. Not much foam in the chalice, but mouthfeel is slushy and spritzy. Aromatic with mixed fruit. Just nicely sweet to emphasize the fruit flavors.
The first sip made me think of Rodenbach, though the peach flavor asserts itself. This is a much better than average Kettle Sour. I'm not sure I've had a fruitier beer, which is what this often wretched style needs. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. Date stamp is November something 2021.
