They call this a "Sour DIPA" which piqued my curiosity, thinking there would be some sweetness to counteract the sour. Well, some sugar there is, but it is still so sour it's more like those cider vinegar "health" drinks. Brewed with apricot, and Nelson and Strata hops.
Quite hazy amberish with minimal foam. Indeed, quite fruity with apricot nectar taste and unripe acidity. The first sip is so awful, with that bacterial taste. The can is dated 07/0721 so maybe it is. The fruit flavor would be OK if it wasn't for the wet cardboard smell and the plastic aftertaste. Oh, not to mention the afterthought of bitter herbs. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine.
