Black colour, medium off white head that lingers on all the while. Good lace Aroma of cocoa, coffee, roasted malts, licorice, but also a lot of hops. Medium body, sticky texture, good carbonation. Dry sticky finish. Taste of coffee, chocolate, also a lot of hops. I'd say is more a black ipa than a rich, but it-s good.

Pours a pitch black coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smell is quite hoppy actually, with grassy, floral notes, but also roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is an odd mix of roasted, caramel, chocolate malt and grassy, floral hops, with hints of toffee and licorice. Finishes with a medium bitterness, some sweetness and an odd, somewhat floral note lingering in the aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Poorly balanced, this can't seem to decide whether it wants to be a RIS or Black IPA. I can very much enjoy a hoppy Stout like Yeti or Ten Fidy, but the balance is off here, being too sweet and floral.

From Laborratorium. In Teku glass. Playing The Last Door Season 2. Pretty roasted and boozy. Nose is better than mouth, which i find a bit harsh. Not unpleasant but wouldnt repeat. Huge foam, requiring multiple pours
