Glenmere Brewing Company

 

This small, family-operated brewery is located in the picturesque town of Florida, New York - midway between Warwick and Chester. It's located in a portion of an industrial building. It's unassuming but a welcoming space with both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat indoors in the brewing area. There are lively murals on the wall, including Johnny Cash who is one of my heroes. There were locals but also a serious beer connoisseur from New Jersey. The owners are very friendly and answered my questions. I was very impressed by the beer; I sampled the West Coast IPA and the Stout with raspberry; both were very good. the selection is modest but I don't mind it the beer is good. Glenmere is located close to Rushing Duck, Drowned Lands, and Tin Barn but it's so much more intimate. It's on my radar for future visits.

 

Cool little tasting room partitioned off a steel industrial building with a stand-up bar and a few benches around the periphery. Four beers on tap; friendly accessible brewer. Look forward to trying more of their beers.
