a very basic glass of beer here by any standard, simple lager, real light, not a whole lot happening with it in aroma or flavor, well enough made to be thirst quenching and without appreciable flaws i suppose, but it also lacks objective excellence and ends up kind of fitting into that space where im glad they have a beer like this on their menu for a hot summer evening, but also its unexciting, probably not a great introduction to the brewery, and a rather forgettable pint overall. its pale yellow, less than perfectly clear, and lacking much head retention. the nose is bready with the european lager yeast, and there are some hops late. the flavor is about the same, like all the elements are here but their union is nothing special. it could be drier, definitely brighter, and a tad more cleaned up on the fermentation overall. not bad but not great, the least exciting of the three beers i had in here, but the place is amazing to hang out at, recommended for sure. nothing really wrong with this, just a little dull.
