Copenhagen 6/9 2023. 33 cl bottle from Spar, Langestraat, Oostende. As “WenBrew Coast Blond”. Simple white label with an anchor.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a huge white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 4 cm thick crown of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Massive lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a scent of citrus and grass. Yeasty touch. Sweet pale malts. Humid basement. Lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness with a tart streak. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Middle of the road Belgian Blonde which is not bad.
