Surprised by the quaffable appearance, legitimate colors from malt! Reddish brown. 1/2" head. Corn and red malt peat sweetness here.
Taste missed the hop train, still pushed that corny sweetness, offputting bitterness from every direction. Thin mouthfeel. I bet ample use of some Cascade hops would make this better than average.

A pretty red to rust colored beer, small head, actually provided some decent lace. Aroma was typical red sweetness, but lacked depth.
No hopping, thin body, lots of sweetness and corn. Metallic, yet low bitterness. Pretty similar to Leinie Red, except this one lacks the foot odor that Lenie's sometimes has. You'd like to see more toasting/roasting for these beers.
This is a bit of a watery example of a red lager. Cheap enough if they ever make it again.
