The worst beer I have ever consumed. Opened a can from a 12-pack purchased (on sale) on a hot summer day and couldn't finish all twelve ounces.

for me, an exceptional game day beer. Wish I could still find it.

Here it is folks, the worst Pabst has to offer. Pours clear yellow, kind of a bubbly head that collapses in the middle. Smells like leaves floating in a stagnant pond. Sour, bitter, funky flavor that is dominated by corn and ass. I won't even boil my brats in this swill.

In my junior year of high school, my friend stole one of his mothers beers from the fridge when we dropped by his house on lunch break. This was one of the biggest adolescent mistakes we ever made (and we made a lot). Oly Gold is about as bad as it gets. I cant believe its still out there.

Very little taste, but what taste there is does not taste good. It would be easy to chug, but thats about it- thin and watery. My dad told me its the only beer he's poured out on a sunday (can't buy on sunday in indiana). Horrible. Had it at a grad party and handed it off to someone who's only interest was imbibing. Went and searched out a Bud, believe it or not.

Pours a crystal-clear light golden color with a small snow-white head that disappears in a minute or so, almost no lace. Unlike many light beers, carbonation is somewhat subdued. Aroma is very mild, a bit of grain and cooked vegetable smell, not much else. Tasting yields a sting of carbonation, a little weak malt, some cooked vegetable flavors, towards the finish there are some washed out hop notes. Olympia's motto is its the water. In truth it would be more accurate to say "it's water".
Package reviewed was a twelve ounce can. This beer is clearly aimed at the calorie-conscious beer drinker, large, bold red text on the can notes "70 Calories". Additional text indicates that the beer contains six carbohydrates. This beer was no worse than expected, but that is not saying much.
