Part of a weisswurst lunch combo which I purchased at the brewery. It comes in a 500 ml swing-top bottle, so at least we know that the brewery bottles too. On to the beer:
The color is toasted yellow with a creamy head formed on top and which retains well. The nose is rather weak, showing vague fruit, weak malted wheat....just not much to smell here. The flavor is an improvement, but still lands in the mediocre zone. There's a combination of citrus and banana which head the flavor, however the fruit tastes like it has been watered down. Emphasizing the watery fruit would be the mouthfeel, which is light with a slight fizz, and just feels a little watery.
Not a memorable weizen, and certainly not better than the other weiss I tried at the brewery. A "wash it down" beer would be the best description.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
