Lots of floaties in the turbid amber body. A large, well laced white head topped it off. Subdued aroma of tropical fruit and citrus which seems to be the mantra of most middle-of-the-road NEIPA's. Flavor packed a little more punch as the fruits and citrus asserted themselves. Modest bitterness not much of a factor. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, fair but not exceptional.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of sweet citrus and tropical fruit. Tastes of bright citrus and sweet tropical fruit with slight creaminess. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

12 ounce can poured into a tumbler pint glass.
Very pale light yellow and opaque, like a glass of bacon grease. The one inch head is comprised of thick white rocky foam that has good retention and leaves a little lace.
The nose is Citra forward (grapefruit and more generic citrus aromas) and a little weak but the strength picks up a bit as it warms. The flavor is also citrus forward with moderately bitter pithy grapefruit balanced some by bread flour malt. Malt flavor and sweetness are low. The finish cleans up for a grapefruit peel bitter finish and aftertaste. The bitterness seems more assertive as I drink. The medium-full body opens smooth and pillowy with the moderate carbonation building to a more crisp finish that leaves a bit of drying astringency.
OK, missing a little on the feel and flavor, for my palate anyway.

Looks great, a thick cloudy pale straw uniform all the way through with healthy head. Smell is exceptional, perhaps the freshness of the can. It reaches up from my glass pulls me in with its uniquely sweet scent from a mile away, mandarin oranges or even clementines. Well carbonated and earthy, but distinctly hazy. A light oaty finish. Enjoyable and nicely priced as well.
