It tastes sour and bad. Does not resemble a marzen. Not worth your money.
Perhaps it's not fair of me to rate a beer based on a six pack that is obviously underbrewed and/or infected.
But it's significantly more wrong for a brewery to release such a beer to stores and have the stones to charge 14 bucks for that six pack.
Seriously, just buy some Bud Light or whatever. Stop supporting this sort of crap.

Pours headless and a faint caramel note in an otherwise empty nose. Flavor is similarly monotone. The texture is a bit mushy and needs a bit of stiffening in the finish. Just not very exciting or something I will look for again.

12 ounce can poured into a tumbler style pint glass.
L: Clear light amber, rising bubbles, one finger cream-white head is short lived, no lace.
S: Malty but weak, bread crust and caramel.
T: Malty and medium sweet, dark bread crust, caramel, herbal hops, drys some at finish but has a sweet malty aftertaste.
F: High-ish carbonation, crisp medium body softens to the finish, tongue coating.
O: Not a fan, mostly due to the tongue coating quality and overly sweet aftertaste.

Clear, deep gold, nice white head, not much retention or lace, though.
Bread crust and light caramel aroma
Pastry crust, a bit of light caramel
Medium bodied, decent carbonation. Somehow substantial upfront, but watery in the finish
Not my favorite.

I had this beer after 2 Tree House hop bombs so the review may be a little tainted, however, with that said I think this really seemed to stack up really well for all of the great attributes of what one would look for in a darker, more caramel sweet and malty Marzen. Its very well crafted.

Draught pint at The Brass Tap here in Baltimore. Clear amber body with minimal white head that settles quickly into a ring and some lacing. I'm NOT smelling anything. Let it sit a bit to detect faint bready malt, initially overwhelmed by a prickly carbonation that, fortunately, subsides (to a still high level) revealing a medium body. Glad I didn't pay a lot for that sixer in my home fridge.
