Pale chocolate, flaked barley, and brown. Our signature porter features an abundance of Pale Chocolate and Brown malt to give this popular style its patented aesthetic and flavor. The smooth chocolate notes combine with the presence of Flaked Barley and whirlpool hops to round out the body with a subtle bite. With label art that is an ode to Baltimore’s own B&O Railroad museum, Peabody Heights is proud to put Baltimore’s stamp on one of the worlds most iconic styles.

On draught at BrewBelly Sudhaus.
A dark pour with an amber hue, thin beige head and light spotty lacing.
Pleasant dark roasted barley flavor. The caramelized malt is a bit on the sweeter side, and accented by a mild semisweet chocolate note, and well balanced by the hops bitterness.
A little tangy on the finish

Black, big tan head, excellent retention and lace
Smells like extra dark chocolate with a hint of dark fruit, smoke, and char
Much more char in the taste, very dark dark chocolate flavor, the slightest bit of burnt sugar and dried fruit
Medium-heavy bodied and appropriately carbonated
Definitely a sipper, but I dig it

6pk of 12oz cans "packaged 07/27/20" procured from Eddie's (Market) of Vernon Hill: dark brown body w/ruby 'highlights' topped with a substantial dark tan head that recedes slowly to a ring and impressive lacing. Roasted malt with a hint of floral hops aroma that persists to the last drop. Hops more present in the taste, but those malts remain prominent. Medium body with good carbonation. A VERY solid porter.

Huge, dense, lasting tan head with good lacing over a deep brown body. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and ripe fruit. Taste remains focused on roasted malts as hints of bittersweet chocolate and chicory persist. Notes of caramel and toffee in the aftertaste. Hops add some balance with a muted floral character. Dry, lingering finish.
