Murky deep amber appearance with a large beige head and little lacing. Aroma of caramel malts and floral hops. Taste stays malt centered while the hops add a floral and herbal element. Gummy aftertaste. Medium bodied, modestly carbonated mouthfeel. Freshness may be a factor although there is no date on the can.

This unique pilsner is only available at Spirits of Mt. Vernon on N. Charles Street. Named after their resident dog, Bear (I believe a Dogue de Bourdeaux), but nothing like the massive pup. Bright straw color with some haze, with a nice light hoppy aroma and taste.
