Corsica is the first French Pilsner by Peabody Heights! Blending French malts with Barbe Rouge hops, this brew balances the floral and fruity notes with subtle sweet biscuit maltiness.

The brewery description mentions this is a "French Pilsner" so it is a learning experience for me. Closest French beer in my foggy memory bank is probably Kronenbourg but that isn't going to help much here.
Enjoyed on tap at the local pub, with an average size, long lasting white head over a clear, pale gold body. Aroma nailed the Pilsner style of cracker-like, grainy malts and notes of floral hops. Flavor headed off on a bit of a tangent, starting with the sweetness that was more intense than I was expecting. Along the way came across hints of berries, lime and stone fruit while the bitterness stayed light. Crisp medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, loved the smell, enjoyed the taste and welcomed the French accent.
