Very mango and lemony, hazy golden-yellow colour, double dry hopping apparent with the bitterness, very soft mouthfeel for it's style, sits somewhere between a west and NE style. But from Leeds.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 6.0%. Moderately hazy and very pale yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of citrus, hints of pineapple and other tropical fruits. Citric mouthfeel and flavour. Also notes of yellow stonefruits and tropical fruits, hints of sprucetips and pine needles.

440ml can. A bone dry, ddh, hazy IPA. Tight and bitter, with a thin mouthfeel. Fruity like an east coast but ever so bitter. Too parched, took harsh. Needs more resin and a fuller body.

Pours a cloudy, deep golden coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and citrus/tropical hops, with notes of grapefruit and papaya, as well as just a hint of pine. Taste is a great balance of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and fruity, bitter and slightly resinous hops, with citrus and tropical notes of grapefruit, papaya and pineapple, as well as just a hints of pine coming through as well. Finishes with a medium/strong bitterness and some grapefruit, papaya and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This makes for quite a fruity American IPA with a great bitterness and resinous accents, as well as some distinct citrus and tropical notes. It's neither quite West Coast nor New England, which is fine, as this works out rather well in its own way, with a great balance of fruity and bitter elements, as well as a very light malt sweetness in there somewhere as well, making for an enjoyable and thirst-quenching brew that goes down easy. While I do feel that the hops are not coming through quite as vibrantly as they could be, this may well be due to age and I have adjusted my score slightly upwards to make up for that.

L3.5 Straw yellow, good head initially doesn't last long
S4.25 Spicy lemon
T4.25 Clean crisp, lemon notes, lovely balanced bitterness
F4.5 Spot on
O4.25 Cracking. Another great beer from North Co. Better head retention is the only issue.

440ml Can from Tesco (£3):
Quite a hazy & light coloured beer, it's a yellow to lemon colour with a nice, foamy white head on top that's about three centimetres tall initially & holds pretty well in the early going before gradually subsiding. The nose is dank & dry initially with a lot of lemon & pineapple coming through, I got some citrus & a few further tropical notes too & while it's not overly pronounced but the pineapple definitely comes through strongest. The taste is a lot more bitter than the nose suggested & the pineapple is toned down some, I got some nice citrus & grapefruit with touches of melon as well. It's a dry one with light-medium carbonation & a surprisingly smooth mouthfeel but it goes down very easily & it's a nice one.
