Poured to a Rastal BrewDog snifter.
A: Body is pitch black and thick. Head is beige to brown having some darker hues.
S: The aroma is very interesting with tons of cocoa and hints of coffee.
T: The taste is pretty good as the sweetness from the malt connects perfectly with the sweetness of the chocolaty tones, being then highly matched again on their levels of bitterness.
M: Body is medium to high. Carbonation is pretty good. Bitterness is mild. Alcohol is unnoticed.
O: This is both my first North Brewing Co. beer and my first Broaden & Build beer. However, it's also my last Broaden & Build beer because they have shut down during the lockdowns imposed on Copenhagen for covid-19. B&B was a project from one-Michelin-star-restaurant called Amass, where they looked at beer from a pretty inventive way, like they did in their food R&D. It's a very sad project to see fade away. Let's hope something sparks around that vision later in the future.
