We first met AF Brewing at Borefts Beer Celebration in The Netherlands. They then invited us to head to their festival, Lobotomy Day, in St Petersburg, Russia. While we haven’t been able to meet up in person for a while (thanks Covid) we have kept in touch via WhatsApp, and brewed a virtual collaboration together.
When it came to a beer style we quickly decided on a DIPA.
Best ale malt, wheat and oats make up a velvety smooth malt base for us to load in heaps of hops in this boisterous DIPA. Galaxy, Citra and Nelson Sauvin radiate punchy dank and freshly cut honey melon aroma whilst booming with tart gooseberry, juicy blueberry and bright, zesty grapefruit.

440ml can.
L: Hazy orange with a thin but sticky head.
S: Light mango and orange aroma with a dank, earthy edge.
T: Citrus, pineapple and blueberry. Solid bitterness.
F: Medium body, smooth mouthfeel with a chalky edge and only slightly boozy.
O: A nicely crafted, rich, tropical DIPA. Absurd and unnecessary ABV, though.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
