A hazy IPA made using a fine crush of extra pale malt and oats, it’s soft, smooth and loaded with Talus, Citra and Mosaic. We started the beer with our Into The Herzbau recipe and built from there. More oats, a tweak in the water profiling as well as finishing the dry hop with Citra and Mosaic. It’s a bounty of coconut cream, lime, succulent pineapple and juicy orange that swirl into a laid back delight of tropical punch.

Pours a hazy light orange with fine head.

Smell is juicy and a bit sweet with notes of peach, orange sorbet and grass.

Taste is juicy and sweet with notes of orange, lime, coconut and peach with a soft bitterness.

Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.

Overall, a very nice, balanced IPA.

330ml can. The addition of Citra and Mosaic has upped the citrus factor but the ‘Into The Herzbau’ base recipe and its HBC 692 hops still rule. Loads of tropical & coconut flavours. The mouthfeel, however, is not anywhere near as smooth. A dry and still awesome tropical fruit smoothie.

Can. Cloudy straw. Thick froth, creamy head.
Smells of resin and pencil eraser. Some mixed peel is apparent.
Flavour of pineapple. Tropical. A light bitter finish.
Quite viscous. Very low carbonation.
Meh.
