440ml can. Looks exactly like a glass of freshly squeezed peach juice with molasses added for extra depth of colour. Sun-ripened peach aroma emerged as the beer warmed. Not getting a lot of cinnamon but the peach and brown sugar flavours are spot on and complement each other very well. Full/medium body with light carbonation, mouth-puckering sourness and an acidic finish.
The notes that accompany this beer mention a new souring technique. Well, complements to that technique because this is a rich and full fruit beer with a sharp, clean sourness that shocks the palate and then immediately dissipates.
It’s too rich to be properly refreshing but it makes a classy (low abv) dessert beer. Not something I’d drink very often but very pleased to have sampled.
