Let’s take it back to the late noughties, when a wave of new and exciting beer from the USA began to trickle into the UK and the OG North Bar, on New Briggate, were at the forefront of bringing them to the people of Leeds! Transparent and hoppy IPA, session IPA, barrel aged stouts, wheat ale and barley wines! – what a time to be alive!
Intense hop aroma and lean malt balance shake hands and balance in The Eighth Chamber. A robust malt backbone made with Caramalt and Extra Pale creates a slightly sweet clean biscuit base. Nothing but fresh Centennial hops added throughout the duration of the boil, whirlpool and in the dry hop make for a classic American IPA, bitter and laden with fruity esters, gorgeous zesty grapefruit, aromatic pine, sticky resin and dancing floral aroma.

L: Beautiful, burnt orange colour with a light haze and a thin, short-lived head.

T: Bitter orange, resin, golden syrup, alcohol and heavy bitterness.
F: Rich and luxurious. Thick mouthfeel with a hot finish.
O: A big, bold, dank, boozy, marmalade IPA from Leeds, England. A sipper that reveals its full character as it warms.
