Dark brown, tight tan head that dissipated, standard imperial stout look. Smell is pretty new interesting to me, id like to try it again. Woody, ashy, vanilla and chocolate. Taste is the same, more on the dry and bitter side. Feels close to russian Imperial stout with that bitterness and woodyness. Certainly interesting, and a step away from the sweet, rounded stouts I've been having recently.
