Great young craft brew house. You can tell they are still getting settled in, but are already worth checking out. The staff are very friendly and happily provided advice and samples to help me pick out something. They've got a great selection of local beers that they cycle frequently (you can see what's on tap on their Twitter, @Taplands). They also have a small bottle selection as well. The food options are limited and I've heard they can run out during times of peak business. I shared a cheese platter with by partner (blue, mozzarella, goat, and brie) and it was fantastic.
As a newbie to the craft beer scene, I found the friendly, relaxed atmosphere welcoming. There is not a ton of seating but does include a nice outdoor seating area with a few benches and umbrellas. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

An oasis in the Silicon Valley beer desert. Here you will find the latest of many of the best new bay area brewers and beyond -- Faction, Fieldwork, Hop Dogma, Eight Bridges were all on today, along with the standout Hop Valley from Eugene OR. Hard stuff to find around the south bay. The Tapland house brews are also worthwhile, but they seem to last only a day or two so check their online tap list, which they keep up to the minute. Food is limited to cheese plates, charcuterie, panini, etc -- at least for now -- but all are of top quality and perfect for beer balancing.

This is a new brewery and tap house, conveniently located near my work. The bar area is small with only a few tables, but I like what they have done with the small space. Unfortunately they were sold out of their own brew (they had only been opened one week when I visited), but they had a nice selection of other beers, mostly local stuff.

Good place to grab a beer, nice atmosphere. The selection is good to above average. The staff is very friendly and love their jobs. It's a good place if you're in the area, but not worth going out of your way for.
