Copenhagen 24/10 2020. 33 cl bottle from Mikkeller Webshop. Sunken ship and the silhouette of a mermaid hovering.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small white head. Settles as patchy layer of foam unable to completely cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, cake-like odor mingling with sweet liqueur. Brown sugar, marzipan, cherries. Almond liqueur and port wine.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense and with a very strong sweetness. Moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sugary sweet. Lingering. Sweet finish laced with sugar.
Pastry beer with a big P. Cake-like but not much sign of the Rioja barrels. That Siren sure does have a sweet voice.

De Mikkeller. En copa Teku. Jugando a Eventide 3. El mahleb le da un toque herbal y floral muy original y agradable que compensa muy bien las notas a y hace que la experiencia no recuerde a un vino para nada.
