Sampled at the brewpub, it came out a cloudy straw gold under a two finger white head that is quite thick and creamy, lingering well and leaving decent if slightly runny lace. The nose is wonderful, full of spice with lots of butterscotch and a hint of bazooka bubblegum. The mouth is light and mildly carbonated - not enough carbonation for the style. There is lots of flavor here - candy, spice and tons of banana. Too much banana. As it warms, everything else disappears except the banana. Not much hops to begin with, fading to unnoticeable pretty darn quick. Admittedly, I like to eat bananas. And I'm not a big fan of this style. But this was simply too much banana.
