Clear coppery red brew with abundant foam in the goblet. Slight aroma of grain and roasted malt. Just a slight malty sweetness. This is a light and sudsy brew with some malty flavor. Finish is resiny, and then aftertaste is on the bitter side. Overall this is a hoppier and more complex sort of Irish Red. Worth a gulp. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Not dated.

Pour is a beautiful crisp clear ruddy/copper with a nice finger of frothy head that slowly works back down to just a thin cap of bubbles. Nice curtains of lacing as well. It really is beautiful.
Nose is sweet and slightly spicy. Some grassy/earthiness as well alongside the malts.
Flavour leans much more into the spicy/roasty/dry side of things, instead of the sweeter side that lead off the nose. Finishes with a dry earthy/spicy bitterness.
Spritzy carbonation, a little thin for my tastes, but at 4.8% that's probably appropriate, and makes it easy to drink.
I don't know Irish Reds that well, but I really like this one.
