$?
Deep brown in color with about a quarter inch of head that settles to a solid ring.
Nose is rum and bourbon, brown sugar, barrel, tobacco, and a bit of char.
Taste is an interesting mix of rum and bourbon with a fair amount of barrel, some vanilla, some burnt sugars, and some leather.
Body is medium and thin for a ba stout. Carbonation is average. Finish is semi dry.
Overall a nice blend of bourbon and rum stouts. The drawbacks are the lack of body and nothing notable flavor wise. That aside, it's a nice sipper.

Pours black as night with espresso head. You can tell by the pour that this beer is dense.
Smells of cocoa, whiskey, and fig/dark fruit.
Heavy and thick mouth feel, I would almost describe it as silky. Strong notes of whiskey and fudge, fig and dark fruit in the background. Not getting a ton of rum, but some softness from the Figgy Pudding/Rum aging (its bourbon barrels + rum barrels that previously held Figgy Pudding). Lighter carbonation, but I think this works here. None of the flavors jump out and punch you in the face. Everything is subtle, balance, and nuanced. No one flavor overtakes the other, and they all work pretty damn well together.
A great Saturday night sipper. I hope they make this one again.
