No canned on date but I picked it up at the brewery a little over a week ago. 12oz can poured into a teku. Murky deep orange color that is hazy, very modest head but it left sparse lacing on the glass and a very faint layer and ring of foam around the glass. Citrusy nose but the black tea does come through a little, hints of grass. Very dry flavor that i can only attribute to the black tea, grassy and the slightest hint of the meyer lemon that helps smooth out the finish a bit, the 8.5% ABV is present but the black tea blends well. An enjoyable beer from a new and local brewery. A nice beer to drink on a warm night!

Purchased 6/1/2017. 4 pack 12 oz cans. Purchase date was 6/1/2017 so I bought it same day. FRESH.
LOOK: unfiltered yellow/lemon color.
SMELL: You smell the Hop, Lemon, citrus and Booze right away.
(It IS a double IPA ..Duh...) 8.5 .... BUT Not overpowering.

TASTE: Cold: you taste the lemon and hop right away. The tea in my opinion happens after, in my subjective opinion.
Room Temp: the hop settles in but the lemon stays. Personally, I like that.
The tea arrives more at room temp. Pleasant. Like a hoppy black tea with lemon.
The 8.5 is disguised cold. Not so much at room temp. No problem with that.

FEEL: I do not say how i feel. Its personal. This site always want to know how I feel (UGH!)
(Heheheheheh)

OVERALL:
We have a great fresh DIPA for the summer out of Hackensack NJ.
Go figure.
In My Humble Opinion: Great Job! A lemon/Tea balance BUT with the above 6% alcohol that I am presently wanting.
A double IPA when cold, you can pound down more than one 12oz can.
(And you can!) Cold, the 8.5 is camouflaged a bit.
So you have more than 1 and Boom, it will hit you later. If you want that, you got it, Enjoy.
(I am...)
It is NOT a summer shanty as the DIPA will dictate.
I don think they were going for a powerful DIPA for this.
IMHOpnion they are going for a drinkable summer beer with a kick.
And that is what it is.

And thats my review.
