First beer that I've reviewed on here from the Alementary eve though I've had a few swigs of their stuff while in line at Other Half over the years. This was an appropriately-named beer as part of it felt like it had cat piss (there, I said it) in it as this was one of the most underwhelming IPA's that I've had in quite some time. While there wasn't anything printed on the bottom of the can, I doubt that this would have been much better had I consumed it fresh!

Typical pour for a beer of this type as it bordered on a New England-style IPA. A turbid peach hue was topped off with plenty of head but there wasn't much of any lacing to be seen as this was disappointing to the eye once the head settled down. Somewhat dank, reminiscent of piss, and too malty for the hops to fully emerge, this wasn't that pleasant on the nose and the taste was somewhat similar as well. Some swamp water, wet grass, and old, sticky hops filled the palate as this felt tired more than anything else. Hard to find what was fresh here but in the end, the alcohol was hidden and this was balanced enough that I didn't have to pour it out...

This had enough alcohol in it but thankfully,it was just repressed enough not to ruin this underwhelming offering of an IPA. While not a drain pour, I was hoping for more from this and ended up quaffing it as something mindless and unmemorable. At least I was able to save the label, which was on par with everything else that this had to offer!

A very disappointing brew. This tastes like Green Flash West Coast IPA- it would have been the bomb 10 years ago but now in late 2017 it smells like defeat and lost opportunities. Malty and sugary and lame... drain pour all day.
