This remarkable pale ale from Alementary comes damned close to being a citrusy hop bomb on the order of the best NEIPAs. It's clear, though, not cloudy (nor juicy or dank like its cousins), and when you pop the top and pour, be prepared for a citrus smack in the nose, even if you're sitting at arm's length. Pineapple and citrus jockey for position, but mango noses its way in there as well, Double Dry Hopping with El Dorado and Calypso produce the effect, and at just 5.5% ABV, it's totally sessionable. Multiple flavors land on the palate and a nice malt backdrop finishes it off. Would pair well with a wide variety of foods, but Tex-Mex might have the inside track. Nice to have a hoppy pale ale that's balanced as well as this one is. Looks like I may need to travel to Hackensack.

Another hit from Alementary. This falls in line with a handful of other hoppy pale ales I've had and enjoyed from them. Similar and now familiar base flavor with lots of hoppy flavors bouncing around. Really tasty and easy drinking. yb
