This one pours a muddy-ish brown color, with a very small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like tobacco juice, oak vanillin, smoke, and lots of astringent boozy tequila.
This is absolutely a swing and a miss. It tastes like astringent liquified tobacco, almost like someone spit chew into a shot of cheap tequila. There's not enough interesting malt character to make up for the really sloppy barrel character here.
This is medium bodied, and not creamy enough, with a pretty big boozy astringency to it.
I cannot recommend this, even to people who might like tequila more than me.

Very nice strong ale - packs a punch but finished quite smooth. No date printed on bottle. Pours a honeyed amber color with just a little cap of white filmy head and very scant spotty lingering lacing. Smells of malt, barley, brown sugar, caramel, toffee, roasted nuttiness and a little raisin and plum. Taste follows the nose, well balanced and strong with a fair amount of warming alcohol as expected from the higher ABV. Smooth, sticky mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Quite enjoyable even though this is not my usual style of beer. Will look for others from this NJ brewery.
