A: The beer is hazy dark brownish yellow in color. It poured with a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge, a webbing of bubbles on the surface, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grapefruit are present in the nose along with a touch of pine.
T: The taste has flavors of citrusy hops - grapefruit stands out in particular - along with hints of pine in the finish. There is a moderate amount of carbonation.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seems to be a bit more citrusy compared to a traditional West Coast Imperial IPA, but apart from that it tastes like an old school West Coast IPA.
