Got this from my mother who bought at the brewery more than a year ago. It was said to be best after a year of aging. So there we go...
Pours a murky copper with a minimum head that reduces to a rim immediately. Fine carbonation visible.
O-oh immediately brett in the nose. The tartness is nice and accentuates a fruity aroma that reminds me of apricot. Maybe some biscuit malt.
Taste is also clearly tart, fruity, funky, boozy. Malt body is there but hidden behind the funk. A crazy combination of a sour like Rodenbach and your typical southern German / Austrian Bockbier.
Medium body, little tickling
Oh my this makes me laugh. This brewery and Austria in general is so not ready for sour beers yet this is a beautifully delicious and restrained example what a little brett infection can do. If someone of the brewery reads this, I challenge them to try this again, because with its very accessable tartness this could be a kickstarter for sour beers in Austria

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
