A - Pours pretty much black with red hues in the light. Light tan head was on the smaller side and faded very quickly.

S - Not much in the nose. A little malty sweetness and light roastiness.

T - The taste is non-offensive, but not impressive either. There's a little bit of roastiness, but not much. It tastes more like a Vollbier or mild Pils that has been darkened, rather than a dunkel brewed mostly with Munich malt. This seems to be a common trend in Austria.

M - A bit watery and thin. I prefer a dunkel with some body.

O - Pretty typical Austrian dunkel.. drinks very easily, but I'm looking for more richness in malts, complexity and body. I wish I liked it more because I think the brewery is really awesome and unique because it's actually a brew commune (the one and only in Austria).

Dark mahogany red color, scarce head, beige, not really beautiful, and short.
Some sweety smell, but not too much for a dunkel. Hazelnut notes.
Sweety taste, again, not too much. But it is too washed, it tastes almost nothing. It slips away easily, and it left nothing . Anonimous.
Watery, no character body.
Some sweetness in the aftertaste, dry fruit (more peanuts butter, actually).

Pours a clear amber color with red hues. Big bubbled beige head.
Smells of sweet roasted malt, a bit of cocoa and spicy hops.
Sweet malt flavor with caramel, chocolate a bit of spice and a
yeast tartness in the finish that cuts the richness nicely.
Light to medium bodied with a rich, slightly creamy mouthfeel.
Good drinkability for this solid dunkel.
