Light copper color, abundant head, cream color, not really compact on the sides.
Full malt, with cereals and smoked, not too strong. Maybe something like smoked chestnut.
At the taster again smoked chestnut, and malt (without any peak).
In the aftertaste again smoked (more bacon-like, now). Quite strong malt, but not boring. Lightly spiced finish.
Average to light in body.

Pours a golden amber with a big, creamy off white head.
Aromas of malt and a slightly sweet woody smoke smell.
The smoke comes through a lot more in the taste, but still a very mild presence. Flavors of sweet hardwood smoked malt and a spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Nicely balanced.
Light body with a full mouthfeel, lots of carbonation and a dry woody finish.
I like my smoked beers a bit "meatier" but this was good in it's subtlety and balance. The milder flavors made this, by far, the easiest drinking of the smoked beers I've tried.
