On tap at the brewpub in Asheville.
Essentially black body with a durable tan head. Toffee, honey and black bread in the nose. More maple in the flavor. Rich. Lightly sweet fading into a very mildly bitter finish. Full body with light carbonation.

Had on tap. My favorite from them yet! Pitch black body with a fat finger of brown foam. Smell has the walnut melding in seamlessly with the chocolate, malt, and vanilla cream, maple lay atop all of this as a nice finisher. Taste integrates further, with maple encasing the walnut with accent plum and raisin, vanilla fits right in here too at the center, with the surrounding layers of malt, chocolate and subtle earth. Feel is frothy and smooth, though a bit lighter in the middle with the sweetness, but balances out well
