a dramatic and tasty blonde ale brewed with coffee and coconut, cool to have these flavors in a beer that isnt a stout or a porter, but at the same time that it tastes great, it also is one of the least well executed beers that we had in here from a technical standpoint, a little flat from the tap and in the feel, i wish it was a little drier and a little brighter, but the flavors are great, really. the coffee is roasty and bitter, drip thats been sitting awhile with the water part steaming off, getting a little stale and concentrated, odd in a pale beer, only shows a little coffee in the color. the coconut is very natural and really prominent in the mix, tropical and sunny and like vacation. some starchiness to the body, it should feel lighter than it does, the intensity of the flavors make it seem kind of heavy, but i cant set the glass down! the coconut and the coffee go great together, and this ends up being a pretty memorable glass of beer despite its rough edges. nice mix of flavors here.

Pours a nice golden brown. Delectable, balanced, and highly drinkable with slight coconut hitting the tongue and a fresh green coffee bean flavor on the back-end as well as on the nose. In my notebook I gave it a 9.5/10 which is high praise for anything but an amazing stout coming from me!

On tap at the brewery taproom in Asheville.
Clear, lightly hazy amber body with a semi-durable white head.
Appealing aroma that's bready with just a hint of coffee. Excellent flavor with faint coffee (until the aftertaste) and coconut. Sweet upfront for style but Mild bitterness by the finish. No off-notes.
