16oz undated can purchased cold at the brewery last week poured into a pokal glass at just above fridge 5.6% ABV per can label. The beer pours mostly bright, dull copper in color with khaki head. The head recedes slowly to an uneven & rocky cap of big bubbles. Spotty lacing. The aroma is mild with equal parts toasted malt and smoke. The taste is semisweet caramel malt with plentiful hardwood campfire smoke. Minimal bitterness. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, ok to good. I wish this had a little Vienna or Munich malt flavor.
