16oz can served in a Duvel tulip glass. No date stamp on the glass.
Appearance: Pale straw color, completely cloudy. Rocky white head with some strands of lacing. Not much to look at, but I'll give it an extra point for the label which attracted me to this one.
Smell: Citrus, grapefruit, a little bit of underlying pungency, but not in a bad way.
Taste: Hoppy, but not excessively so. Citrus and grapefruit notes dominate, with some pungent notes as well that sharply contrast with the hops and malt. The malt is a little bready, but just enough balance against the hops.
Mouthfeel: Chewy, spicy on the tongue, good carbonation, dry finish, a bit sticky on the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: Not quite as "juicy" as you would expect for a NEIPA, but a nice single malt single hop offering that brings out the simcoe.....but I'm finding this is not my favorite hop to have alone. Glad I tried it, but I think one glass is enough - or it needs to be paired with food.

16oz tallboy can, sample from the brewery.
Super hazy, head and lacing in lacking. A decent hazy ... it does however taste similar to most hazy IPAs that are Simcoe forward. Sort of a one and done, glad I was able to try it.
