Poured from a crowler (missed the fill date) into a glass
L: pours a deep black brown with minimal head and slightest lacing. Moderate abv legs
S: rich, decadent nose - dessert but not sweet. A great amount of rich coffee to open, with a hit of dark chocolate/cocoa powder. Vanilla carries through start to finish, I’m excited to sip this
T: follows the nose very well, again dessert but not overly sweet. There’s this rich and deep bourbon-forward coffee note to open, with that cocoa powder chocolate character as well
F: medium carbonation, medium+ body, fairly smooth and thick mouthfeel
O: well done dessert stout. Avoids being overly sweet, great notes of cocoa and coffee with hits of bourbon caramel vanilla. Body could be a bit thicker, but it’s not a problem here
