Poured from a crowler (missed the fill date) into a plastic tumbler
L: pours a totally opaque, slightly creamy, ruby red grapefruit with zero head. No lacing left with each sip
S: vanilla/lactose aroma leads, sweet maybe a pinch artificial. Behind that some sharper citrus aroma lurking. I’m not getting all that much here beyond that lactose to be honest - also not getting any abv heat, which seems surprising
T: flavor is a bit sharper than I expected from the nose. There’s that key lime and mixed fruit (not sure what a prickly pear tastes like) coming through, tart and sharp. Smooths out toward the middle, lactose leads in the medium/long finish but that sort of cherry limeade character still present. Abv blends in quite well with that lime bitterness, warming for sure
F: medium- body, medium- carbonation. Expected a bit thicker feel
O: man, what a confusing beer. Nose and taste don’t seem to be in 100% agreement, and the body is on the thinner side. That said I like the flavor, and the abv works quite well

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
