Draft pour at the brewery. Served cool in a stemless wine glass. Very dark brown with minimal tan head. The aroma is smokey and roasty. The taste is semisweet smokey dark chocolate with tons of background character. Moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is full bodied with less than medium carbonation and a mostly dry finish. No trace of the ABV in the taste or aroma. Overall, excellent.

This beer is a collaboration with Zillicoah Brewing.
Had it on tap at the Bhramari Brewery. Poured into a snifter. Dark brown body with a bubbly, sort of foamy head. Very fresh tasting and fruity for an imperial stout. Along with the usual strong dark chocolate smell and taste, this stout had flavors of orange, pears, and dark berries. Some booziness and even some strawberry jam! A bit of a light feel, but it seemed to go with the beer. Overall, a great beer to have on a summer night.
