Picked up a 16oz four-pack at the brewery 7-5-21 for $22. No canning date, consumed can #3 for review 9-2-21.
Beer poured black as night with a nice tan head with the original pour.
Nose is full of toasted coconut and cocoa, very nice!
Taste is a huge mildly roasted malt base that is made sweet by the coconut and chocolate adjuncts. Finishes lacking a balancing hop addition resulting in a cloying finish.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and smooth.
Overall the beer concept has very good potential but without using more of a kilned malt base and more hops this brew is waaay to sweet for me and i can handle sweet things!

Bought this can at the brewery in July. The psychedelic can art is fun and characteristic of the brewery.
Poured into a tulip glass. Dark, oily brown color with good initial brown head and good curtain lacing. Smell and taste of dark chocolate covered apricot. Almond Joy notesof coconut and almond come later as it warm. Smooth, silky feel. Very nice imperial stout!
