Served in a snifter from the can.
Appearance: Deep dark brown to black body with a dark tan head which initially rose half s fingers length off the body.
Smell: Smell is a ridiculous strong wood almost plant based aroma. Chocolate is there nonetheless.
Taste: comes off a ridiculously super unique taste which consists of dark roasted espresso with vanilla and hint of mocha and you might think it's crazy but it feels like it has seaweed in it minus the sea water.
Mouth: ridiculously strong aftertaste comes off slightly dry the soft to medium carbonation.
Overall: awesome beer and super unique as far as any American imperial stout that I have had. If you see this Cross your eyes grab it, it's not about being great it's about being super one of a kind. Salud!

Look: Pours black with a very dark brown head. It has very low head retention.
Smell: The first thing in the aroma that hits me is black licorice. There is strong roasted notes with nuts. There are very low chocolate elements.
Taste: It has strong roast and black licorice flavors with nuts in support. The alcohol is noticeable, but not overbearing.
It has a full body with a touch of sweetness in the finish.
Overall, the black licorice is strong and anyone who likes it will love this beer.
