Had on tap. Brownish black pour with a tan head. Smell has the boozy chocolate right away, sweet breadiness after, roasted malt rounding out. Taste is odd in how the ingredients stay segregated the whole sip, booze especially the wine, chocolate and croissant with a hint of cereal, roasted malt, in that order not really interacting. Feel is thinner and roasty, but smooth as a still pond. Odd but not bad

Received in a trade from BMBCLT 1-14-23. No canning date, consumed 1-18-23.
Beer poured brown with an okay off white head.
Nose has toasted malts. some dark chocolate, and a touch of dark fruits.
Taste is a really nice blend of a brown malts and toasted croissants to give it a deep toasted malt taste. Cocoa nibs are distinctive with a trace of whiskey yet blend nicely with pinot noir barrel. Finishes nicely balanced with toastiness in my aspiration.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall an enjoyable beer!
